Gabriel Jesus could miss the rest of the season

The City boss says the youngster underwent a successful operation on Thursday but admits he does not know when he will be fit again
Pep Guardiola says he is unsure if Gabriel Jesus will play for Manchester City again this season.
Jesus had surgery on a broken bone in his right foot on Thursday and is expected to be out of action for between two to three months, with some of that time spent back in Brazil.
But Guardiola admitted he does not yet know if the 19-year-old will be able to contribute to the rest of the campaign.
“I don’t know, I don’t know,” he told a press conference. “People say between two to three months.

“Last night he had an operation, it was good, really good. The most important thing now is a good recovery and he is going back when he will be fit, I don’t know if it will be the end of the season or next season.
“Now we have to be calm, all our support to him and his family and waiting for when he is coming back.”
